About the Speaker:
Ryotaro Tashiro is an Outreach Economist and Advisor with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, specializing in regional economics, labor markets, and community development. He travels across the Third District sharing the economic outlook and the functions of the Fed in clear, jargon-free language, while also gathering insights from local communities to inform his research. Ryo is responsible for the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia Economic Outlook Survey and previously worked as a business analyst at Bloomberg. He holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College.
